Capabilities
Thirteen things a rental operation has to do that a ticketing platform was never asked to do. All of them are part of the platform, with no feature tiers and no paid modules.
They mark the points where rental operations break. A booking taken correctly still fails if the unit was double-sold across two locations, if the driver was routed badly, if nobody knows where the van got to, if nobody can prove the delivery happened, or if the unit went back on the board before it was fit.
Each has its own page below, with the by-industry version underneath it, because the same capability behaves differently for a beach chair and a pontoon boat.
The nine stages, in order
Nine writes to one row. A platform that needs a second system for any of these stages needs somebody to keep the two of them agreeing.

Every stage writes one line here. Nothing is exported, reconciled, or keyed in a second time to make that true.
Running underneath all nine
The guest finds you on a site you own rather than through a reseller taking a commission on the way in. The pages that have to rank and the availability they show read from this record, so nothing is edited by hand to stay true.
Take the booking and price it right.
Get it there and prove it arrived.
Documentation and downside cover.
Close the loop and open the next one.
Accounting, payroll and marketing automation sit outside this. Bodhisys is the operational layer and expects to run alongside the tools you already have for the rest.
The third-party integration catalogue is short. If your evaluation depends on a long list of existing connectors available today, that is a real reason to choose an incumbent.
It needs availability held against individual units rather than a count, that view kept correct across every location, pricing by season and length of stay, delivery and pickup sequencing, a live position for the vehicle driving that sequence, proof that a drop happened, waivers and licences collected before arrival, a boundary alert on the vehicles that leave with a customer, messaging tied to the order, a way to soften late cancellations, add-ons drawn from real stock, and availability reopened once a returned unit is fit.
Bodhisys does those as one system rather than as a booking engine with a spreadsheet beside it. There is no monthly fee. A 4.5% charge is added to each reservation and paid by your customer at checkout.
