Capability
One live view of every unit across every location, with transfers recorded so stock idle at one site can fill demand at another.
Availability sits against individual units, each with its own location, condition and service history, rather than as a count per site. A booking commits a specific unit, which is what keeps the view correct when the same unit gets promised twice in two places.
Transfers between locations are recorded as movements, so a unit in transit is neither double-booked at the site it left nor invisible at the site it is heading to.
The operator sees the whole fleet at once and can fill a booking at one site from stock standing idle at the next.
Eight bikes, two locations, one in the workshop. Book against each model and see which one can tell you which bike the customer is getting.
Turning away a booking at one location while identical units stand unused at the next.
The number to watch is utilisation per location, and the count of refusals made against available stock elsewhere.
This tracks units, locations and movements. It is not a warehouse management system and has no concept of bin locations or pick paths inside a building.
Every capability page on this site carries a section like this one. Why that is.
One live view of every unit across every location, with transfers recorded so stock idle at one site can fill demand at another.
Bodhisys handles it as part of the platform rather than as a paid module or a partner integration. There is no monthly fee. A 4.5% charge is added to each reservation and paid by your customer at checkout.
There is no per-location fee and no seat licence, so the count is an operational question rather than a pricing one.
Yes. Availability is held against individual units rather than a count, so a committed unit cannot be sold again.
Yes. Transfers are recorded as movements so the unit is never double-counted while in transit.
The same capability behaves differently by category. These are the per-industry versions.
